And we’re here to help tell them. Filmanthropic is a documentary initiative that brings to life the powerful stories of nonprofit organizations, transforming their missions into cinematic films that spark connection, awareness, and action.

But the clarity, craft, and funding needed to tell that story well rarely come with the advice.
That gap is where Filmanthropic lives.
We don’t just encourage storytelling. We make it possible.
How It Works

1. Identify the Mission.
We seek out organizations doing meaningful work in the world. Through honest conversations and deep listening, we uncover the heart of their mission, their current needs, and the most powerful way to tell the story.

2. Fund the Film.
Projects are funded through guided sponsorships and matched funds. The matched funds are diligently compiled by direct donations through STL.org, in-kind donations from local creatives, and state tax incentives.

3. Capture the Story.
In collaboration with St. Louis filmmakers, we produce documentary films that bring the missions to life and awaken hope, urgency, and action.

4. Amplify the Impact.
Each film becomes an awareness and fundraising asset, shared across premiers, donor communications, and digital platforms to rally support and strengthen the cause for years to come.
