Our popular series Curated by CURIOSITY is back in 2026 with a new pop-up calendar ready to bring the jewels of our city to your social agenda. With the layout of a casual happy hour, Curated by CURIOSITY is aimed at bringing together people from all different facets of our community and celebrating the creative spirit of our city.
This month we are honored to welcome MO Variety, a grassroots circus showcase brought to you by the multi-talented performer, Laura Lippert. Lippert is best-known for her hard-working hair. She has been seen on Jimmy Kimmel and James Corbin, swinging objects from her exceptionally long braids and has performed locally at Circus Flora and City Museum performing entire aerial numbers from her hair.
In addition, Lippert is an actor, dancer, acrobat, performance artist, and teacher. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has described her work as “a spectacle so mesmerizing, it leaves the audience in awe.” Laura has performed in over seven countries, with companies and shows including Broadway Variété, Gynoïdes, Circus Monti, Nadère Arts Vivants, and El Circo Cheapo Cabaret. Venues include Montreal’s top theaters, la TOHU, Usine C, and La Chapelle, Copenhagen’s audacious Republique, the renowned Orionteatern in Stockholm and the International Finance Center in Shanghai. Laura has taught aerial arts everywhere from Aloft Circus Arts in Chicago to Dans och Cirkushögskolan in Stockholm, and she has appeared at corporate events and commercials for high-powered companies such as Pantene and Aveda.
MO Variety will be set to entertain in ONE NIGHT ONLY themed events with a variety of characters, sure to make some noise in Saint Louis. Be first in the know and join us in meeting the creatives behind Saint Louis’ new variety show in a relaxed happy hour atmosphere hosted by STL.org.
